Azita Ghanizada Azita Ghanizada Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in several television series. She is an Afghan American actress that was raised in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her country of birth, her family moved into in the US. She was granted asylum in the US and permitted to stay. She was brought up to a young age in Northern Virginia and is the middle child from two siblings. Her career on air began with a string of National Commercials. For the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada played the lead role in Chiara a performance for which she received the film festival's best actress nomination.
